Teenagers and the Perfect Storm

When teenagers make it through the perfect storm, they have grown up with all the child hood illnesses, colic, ear infections, strep, antibiotics, gut issues, and beat-up immune system…   they’ve had a lot of stress in childhood, labor and delivery that transitions into sensory, focus and emotional issues. These issues don’t leave them it changes form. They have been stuck in sympathetic overdrive and the nervous system holds on to it. They get into high stress situations like a big test or sports, the stress response is needed but since they’ve been stuck on stress for long the adrenals are maxed out. A lot of these skids shut down, they don’t talk to parents, peers, not engaging and their neuroadrenal system is giving up.

Our next Perfect Storm seminar is August 28th at 7 pm live on Facebook!
